That's what has me wondering - no crest or 'side burns' and I have a pure breed araucana so I know what to look for. Her comb is small but a normal single comb, not the rose comb that Kiev has.

Earlobes are whiteish - so white eggs might be a good guess, but it is a bluey white and Kiev has white earlobes and lays a blue egg (as one would expect form her breed) so I'm still up in the air here.

Ho hum.... time will answer all.

Cookie's tail is held to the left at such an angle I used to think there was something wrong with her back but after checking and double checking a number of times I decided she was just odd

Having looked at the more recent photos, I can now say it looks nothing like my Copper Blues. The head-dress does resemble that of our Silkie crosses though.
Into each life some rain must fall........but this is getting ridiculous.

If she similar, she lays white tinted eggs with a hint of blue in it

If the Aruacana was dad she's likely to lay blue eggs! If maran was dad she should lay chocolate brown eggs Either way, the eggs will be distinctive!
She does look squat like my recently departed Silver Grey Dorking though! They have short legs but of course the extra toe. (She must have her Dad's feet!!!!!!!!!)
