Well the final update before bed... still only 2 hatched and 1 further 1 pipped. When I candled them about a week ago, there were 7 possibles, 2 maybe's and 1 no go so we'll see what day 21 brings!Never test the depth of the water with both feet

RT - could go into day 22 aswell, depends on the breeds. Maybe day 23 but not so likely!
Keep the piccies coming never ever get sick of them! got some in the incy atm which are due to hatch tomorrow, they are a fertility test on some new birds we have - not really sure whats gonna hatch but we have a cheep or two, also got more due next weekend - cream legbars and light sussex - shhh don't tell Richmond!!!

day 21 and the one that had pipped and was cheeping last night never made it out of it's shell.
There are now three chicks in total this morning and 1 further one pipped, the third chick is black, so I guess that answers my question don't it?

Total of 4 hatched, 3 with no chance of hatching, 3 died during hatching, possibly due to an over eager person
dropping the temp and RH a bit too much checking every 5 mins.
Two yellow and 2 black chicks. All in all I am chuffed to bits. I learnt a load and have enjoyed the experience and DD and all the other kids we've had through our house in the last 2 days, they've learnt a load too!

last post but had to show them now. The black and white 1 is pikkewyn (which means penguin) and is dd's fav, so I really hope that this one is a girl!
