Strangely enough...Andi found out today that the lady we turned down 2 12 week old hens from will be able to give us fertile eggs as & when required!!!I'm seriously wondering whether it's a coincidednce that hois birthday just happens to be 21 days before Christmas day!!!triple...I thought a while back I may get him an incubator for his birthday!

                  I am honoured!

My LS broody is now sitting on five Lavender Aruacana eggs as from yesterday................hopefully the postie who broke one of the eggs hasn't shook the others up enough to stop them hatching!

Walldanzig is a bit of a mouthful to call one of mine so I might call it ziggy!

Hope all goes well with yours and mine.................. we can compare notes later on.

Oh I have a black Araucana cross and he is BEAUTIFUL - not like a crow at all. I don't show birds and couldn't show him anyway as he is not pure bred, but he is definitely worthy of it. We call him Mojo! He is becoming a pet!

He He He..Snadger has a lot to answer for doesnt he. All those questions about egg colour set me thinking too. I'm DEFINATELY, NO WAY WHATSEVER, going to fetch back some coloured egg layers from Carlisle tomorrow

By the way can i just add that my Silver Sussex cockeral reminded me of one in a Snadger pic from when I first joined the forum, so hes called Snadger!!! Sorry Snadger, but at least he's a handsome boy. What's it loike to be a superstar
