You can't tell me this DOESN'T look like a crow....surely!

One of my lottie neighbours has a batch of Shamo chicks - only a mother could love them! They are truly ugly!
And yes it does look like a crow! Maybe it'll improve with age? I quite liked the Black and red Araucanas though

I hatched some Cream Crested legbars back in May as I wanted to start coloured egg boxes, probably won't go into lay until nest year but I can't wait. They aren't the most attractive birds but I have grown to love them and there flighty little ways and there funky little hair styles.
Until now I have always had large fowl and must admit these are much smaller than my other birds which make them alot faster if they have to be caught.

Er yes I guess he does look like a crow Snadge! My boy looks nothing like that but he is only a cross - he came out of an Araucana egg but no-one knows who the father was as there were several to choose from. I'll have to try and get a pic on here.

The chicks hatching on Christmas day I'd love......the fact it's my turn to do New Years is what possibly puts me off.....not sure how much cinnamon & orange I'd need to burn to disguise the aroma of chook poo in the living room!

Chicken Slave...I think our CL's are absolutely stunning!

Snadge...if you think that black Aracauna looks like a crow, you need to see our Norfolk Greys!...the Boy is stunning, but the girlies definately missed out on the pretty gene!
the fates lead him who will;him who won't they drag.

Hilly - I love that picture - looks like those two are seriously considering whether a black leather chair would fit in with the rest of the decor!
