Having read through the above though, I might start with names again
Shelly!!!!! does Paul know they might have names? I know he named Thor, and wasn't there an Odin too?

All you others, Shelly and Paul are my friends and Paul laughs at me for giving my girls an boys names - though he always refers to my "Bluebelle" cockerel as Basil
My girls found their way into my heart and now they nest there

Maureen, P is worse than me for it! Hadn't you figured that out yet? lol
Odin? Yes, I am sad to say, that Odin was the blue orp which recently went to the great big chicken coop in the sky.
We now have to decide which viking god the new boy is to be named after. Thanks so very much to Mike and Jenny who brought round my (two, like I needed more chickens ) new additions. The blue boy is the most beautiful specimen, as is his lady friend. They are both making themselves very comfortable and at home now. I keep thinking of Tristan and Isolde or some such mix but so many of the 'couple' legends ended in tradgedy. Maybe they'll end up as Darby and Joan.

          Hi
I like old-fashioned names for mine
I started with Enid, Dorothy and Barbara, Dorothy and Barbara are RIP then along came Mrs Betty Taylor also RIP then Enid was joined by Ruby, Monica and Maud.
Fanny and Rose came next but are also RIP as were definately not chickens, so couldn't have chosen worse names for them, should have been Fred and Rodney.
