Sorry about snowdrop - not sure I like your vets attitude though, if the others show signs of being sick find a vet other than this one and get them treated, antibiotics will clear up a respiratory infection in a couple of days. Unfortunatley there are still a lot of vets out there that do not seem to have grasped the concept that these are loved pets and not a comercial farm animal - thankfully our vet is an absolute star and has yet to be put off by anything we have thrown at him!

Yes, this is very true - our vet said she wouldn't bother looking at chickens and also she wouldn't want to see my sons scorpion if it was ill(its called Bin laden - it lives in a cave and you never see it) Wierd or what? i personally think chickens are the best pet possible - they certainly earn their keep!
