    As most of you know, there are many different types. Here is a useful guide I have found for anyone who might be worried about their chickens' poo.

      Mine seem to have quite liquid ones but I imagine it's because the eat loads of insects and grass whist free-ranging. They're all very healthy ( touch wood)

          Do you know I came across that a couple of weeks ago & thought it would be useful to post....just not so techno minded....not so sure it's a great thing to admit we're on the same wavelength,considering the subject!
          It put my mind at ease about quite a few things.

                You know you've got the chicken bug when you study their droppings! You should have seen me when they were on Flubenvet - poking around to see if there were visible worm corpses!

                    I remember the horror when I first saw a yellow one. Wish I'd had this a few months ago.
                    Into each life some rain must fall........but this is getting ridiculous.

                      I think it's good to poke around in your chicken's poo. Only that way can you tell if they are healthy or not. I actually stick my head in the houses each morning after the birds have been let out to see if I can see any "dodgy" poos which might indicate something is amiss.

                          that was so useful! I always look at my bird's droppings when i clean out their roosting box and this has put my mind at rest..............
