Survivor number 6 passed away during the night, the shock must have been too much for her.................
.
Sorry to hear that kirsty!
My Majesty made for him a garden anew in order to present to him vegetables and all beautiful flowers.- Offerings of Thutmose III to Amon-Ra (1500 BCE)
So sorry to hear that kirsty. Hows your Brad today??
Better today thanks, the drugs that were making him hallucinate/sleep lots etc are now fully out of his system and he is more himself and can be told what is happening and take it all in.
My sister has put a full update on his blog - link below in my signature, feel free to read and post comments if you like. Sis doesn't mind anyone reading it - her view is that it raises awareness of this type of cancer as its not very common.
As for chook, I'm just glad she is not suffering, and I will just concentrate on my little band of ladies back to normal
Like Becki just caught this thread and my heart goes out to you & your family, really sorry about your girls too.... sending positive thoughts from me & mine x
The love of gardening is a seed once sown never dies ...
I've just caught up with this thread... I can't imagine what you're going through Kirsty, but our thoughts and prayers are with you and your nephew. He sounds like an amazing guy. Sorry to hear about your hens too, what flippin' bad timing...
Dear Kirsty-
I'm so sorry to hear about your chickens and I know what it must be like for it to have happened at this very difficult time for you. Please don't give up hope for Bradley. My daughter had a very aggressive non-hodgkins lymphoma a few years ago, and after her stem-cell transplant she went from bad to worse - they didn't think she would last until Xmas. But on Xmas Day she started very slowly to recover and to this day no-one, including all the doctors, knows how or why she did. It was like a miracle and she recently had her 5-yr follow up. I know it can be very irritating when others tell you stories like this when you feel that in your case that there is no hope. But it does happen. If you would like to PM me I would be very happy to hear from you.
Just read this thread- so sorry for all these things happening around you. Read the blog a while ago and just caught up with tears flowing. Life is a real b***** sometimes. Hope things settle for you all.Huge hugs and positive thoughts from ths neck of the woods. Amazing to hear of your daughter, fran. How wonderful that these things happen-hope she carries on from strength to strength.xx
