  • Eggs from treated hens?

We are due to worm the girls soon. I know the eggs are off limits for humans, but would they do the dogs any harm? They love a raw egg on their breakfast!!

If you're using Flubenvet to treat your girls, there's no withdrawal period and the eggs are fine for humans to eat
My girls found their way into my heart and now they nest there

The only time I was advised to withdraw the eggs was when I used a sheepwormer on the chickens. Although when pushed the vet admitted he would eat them anyway. I scrambed the first few and fed back to the chickens, then decided to eat them myself. I'm still here and free of worms!
As Mo said no need to withdraw with Flubenvet.

no egg withdrawl with flubenvet or vermex - so they are fine for human consumption.

There is egg withdrawl with ivomec, but wouldn't use this anyways unless you already have it as its expensive even for my 100 odd birds! Not when there are perfectly good poultry products out there that do not require egg withdrawl. Flubenvet is the best
