We've just switched Boo & Roo to Growers Pellets(mixed with a little chick crumb).....how much fun to be had watching them peck away at them,only for the pellets to bounce away with each peck...then chased around the cage by two confused chicks!
It's obviously tired them out as they're now both flat out!!!
Think tonight might be their first night without the lamp?(They're five & a half weeks...Roo actually a week older
)They've been spending the days out all week....it's not too early is it?They are looking perfectly comfortable right now...not huddled together & as outstretched as a chook can get.

They've probably got all their feathers now, and they're of an age where their mother would start to abandon them. I love watching little ones trying out new foods
