One of my girls has just caught and eaten a small live frog. Made my stomach turn. Is this normal? It was about 2/3" big.

My lot chased one and one ate it. I could see the little legs sticking out of her beak. I have previously shooed them off and rescued frogs but this one wouldn't have recovered - too pecked and too far down!Whoever plants a garden believes in the future.

Poor lil froggy
My girls had best not scoff the frogs wot scoff the slugs wot scoff the hostas
I shall sulk. I thought chooks meant cuddles + eggs eventually, slug control gradually and manure immediately (well they're not tight in providing the last)If a thing's worth doing, it's worth doing to excess
