went out today and bought 5 chicks to fatten for meat, have them n the garage under a heat lamp in a home built brooder, so fingers crossed that they thrive, theres prob no reason to worry but its unknown territory so am a bit nervous, but excited,woo hoo !!!!!!!

Way to go Seamus.
If you have to name them I suggest names along the lines of Kiev, Coq Au Vin, Massala, Stir Fry etc. (Not an original thought, there is a Grape who has used some of those names but it will focus you on their ultimate purpose)If a thing's worth doing, it's worth doing to excess
