Nicos, I'll take some pics today especially for you!

You have a cruel sense of humour...like me!

Unless they've grown their feathers back over night they're looking awful!

It's nice to have a thread with something to smile about. Seems as if there are so many ill and injured chooks around at the mo.

As requested, more pics of my poor little girls. I know it's funny...but they're being a bit pecked by the boys now and bleeding in places. They're now DRENCHED in anti peck spray and tucked up in bed for the night!

Ouch, being pecked and bleeding is not so funny. I thought your boys were about the same age as mine, 12 weeks. My boys are frightened of all the girls. I don't think they would dare to peck them.

My boys are 14 weeks now I think...and they're not pecking in a bad way, just curious why they look the way they do!

OMG. If I'd have happened upon them I'd have called the RSPB under the misapprehension that they have some awful disease.

Actually, it's good to see those pics, those of us that have young 'uns won't be so worried when it happens to our poor girls next year. (Do the boys moult too?)

Boy they do look comical tho

WOW! I've never seen a moult either! If I saw that I'd wonder if they had a scrap with a cat!

They look as if someone has tried to pluck 'em for the table!

Hope they feather up soon - poor babies..
