      Congratulations.

Wait until they first eat out of your hand and you feel the warmth of their breath and little faces on your fingers ~ you'll be beside yourself.

Or when they go potty with pleasure to get out of the coop then run straight back to say hello.

I'm more besotted with my chooks everyday (just in case you hadn't noticed)

Right - that means 6 new photos? Or have I totally misunderstood the House Rules here?

Congratulations. Lovely for you - and them - lucky birds!

here are the pics as promised,no prizes for guessing who the ugly looking fat bloke holding the chooks is,busy weekend with the OH going off to france with her sister on saturday, would have posted sooner but have been indisposed due to vast quantities of good english ale last night (the cat's away)

actually it was 8 or 9 to celebrate the OH being in france (reducing the wine lake) with her sister, the prospect of an extra hour in bed looked good too.
Still "underwoke" though and found youngest son had let chooks out, said he didn't want to wake me as he thought I might be a bit bad tempered.

                              who, "moi" I said
