The cockerel will act as referee - when I was down to 2 hens and a cockerel I introduced 4 new hens and my cockerel has always just marched in between any squabbles, glared at them and they stop immediately.
I agree with the others. Adding 1 hen is very risky - she will probably be bullied. Mr Darcy also is very capable of more lovin' !!! Get the chap more girls. Alot of breeders go on a 10:1 basis!!! oooooolala. Busy boys.
