  • Electric fencing works!

This morning three greyhounds, an Ibizan hound and a deerhound got out of our yard through a left-open gate and into my nephew's garden where my neice keeps her beloved bantams
Fortunately they are surrounded by an electric fence and not a feather was harmed! The dogs though are very thoughtful

Really pleased to hear that - have just ordered a new energiser for a second run of fencing on my allotment! Lots of new folk with dogs running loose on the site so its good to see that even hounds can be stopped with it.

        That's great news Polly.

Dogs had a stunning time in the garden

          Great news Polly

My Mum's dog went tearing across the garden in the dark late one night last winter, just after I'd got my Chooks. Somehow she ended up in the middle of their run (they'd gone to bed), and was howling as she was too scared to get back out. We had to turn it off and carry her out. She won't go within 6 feet of it now.

I have watched a fully-grown fox walk quietly past my leccy fence and go on its way. I still change the battery regularly and keep my fingers crossed though!
