What is the penalty for doing it anyway? Peaceful protest with some nice quiet hens, whats to possibly object to? Amazing that some of the most acceptabe of creatures would not be allowed when there was a heroin addicted abusive wreck living in free houseing at the top of the highstreet above my shop! Rar!

yes and if you listen to them. My opinion of watching BBC parliment for example.

''I think'' Appears to me they only spout of what THEY think. Therefore is the MP representing whom he/she was elected to do? About time MPs click there heels at the people whom placed them in the position of MP. No matter if it goes against what the MP thinks. End of they day, THEY ARE MEANT TO REPRESENT.

I currenly seve as a Community Councillior. There is two Local authority Councilliors we never see. Community councillior is like that of Parish Councillior.

However if they do appear at our community meetings. Well it is intresting when you listen. They hardly appear at our meetings these two. YET they were elcted to represent. However will appear at local authority meetings. That does not make sense. Is there gain? Will it look good to the party they are councilliors of?

I would LOVE to REPRESNT the folk in my town. MONEY stops me! I argue it is the 'class system' that still and will continue to grip UK society. I find it shocking that I can't stand for election as I have no money to place as a deposit. Yet the Govt bang on about diversity and equality!

As I understand it there is no charge for standing for election as a councillor (unlike the 'deposit' required to attempt to become an MP). I haven't looked lately, but that was the information available on the OMRLP website a while ago (and they ought to know, having lost a lot of deposits over the years, indeed the high level of the election deposit was specifically introduced to stop them seeking election, because they don't and never will take the system seriously, they expose the lunacies!)
