Is that I can see there have been no fox prints around the fence perimeter- looks like the electricity has put them off- no matter how hungry they are??? ( famous last words eh)

It's put our minds at ease also! One chap has been insistent that there's a fox about.....Andi checks for signs every night.
First night of snow, and each day since,he's wandered the perimeters of the lottie and not a footprint in sight.
The other good thing is that ours seem to have upped their laying again.....we were down to three or four a day but this week it's been at least eight a day.the fates lead him who will;him who won't they drag.
Happiness is not having what you want, but wanting what you have.xx

Snow here too now .............................. and the chooks don't like it It did make me feel happier though that there were no fox footprints anywhere in the garden! The girls (and Jerry) all started to pile out of the coop this morning, took one step onto the snow and then tried to get back inside, but the others behind them wouldn't let them back in So funny to watch them hop-stepping across the run to the shelter where the food isMy girls found their way into my heart and now they nest there

Ours is finally thawing. Not so much fun for the children but the chooks are happier. They've been milling around the ramps or hiding in the houses for the last week. This morning they are venturing into the thawing snow a little. The really wussy ones sit in one place for a while, then take off and fly several yards to another patch where they sit in that for a while, then fly to yet another patch, or back to the house.
