Police said they were coming and 1 week on haven't showed up yet. Don't see why I bother.... :-(

I wouldn't worry - the ones who came to my allotment to "investigate" the theft, were a complete waste of time. One was only concerned about getting wet as it was raining and they took no details of the birds - "well a hen's a hen isn't it?" I offered photograhs bbut they weren't acknowledged. 2 days later I had a phone call and letter from victim support and then the PCSO called a month later to say they were "closing the case" which had obviously never been opened!
