first egg

having given up on any eggs from the girls until feb/march ,I discovered an egg in the litter on xmas eve,and have had one a day since .Can't wait for the other 5 girls to start now.
tasted fantastic fried easy over in a malted granary roll with proper butter.

VERY happy for you - I still thank my girls if they lay for me and I've had them almost 2 years. I still have a stoopid grin on my face when I find eggs!

love the taste of the first egg i found myself clapping one of my girls yesterday cos i found her on the nest good job i'm here alone lol
