Happy new year to everyone and hope someone has a bit of advice.
We have had our girls for almost a year now and Daphne on of the warrens has always been top hen, however she got a cold a couple of weeks ago and was quite poorly, Titch our youngest but largest hen (an amber star) has usurped her and seems to have gone from being bottom of the pecking order and very sweet to the bitch queen from hell. She is now queen and will not leave Daphne alone, drawing blood this afternoon. At the moment Daphne and her friend Thelma are shut inside the coop whilst Titch and Morticia are outside, everyone has food, water and shelter, but I am really worried that they will kill Daphne.

I've never seen severe bulling- but my gut feeling would be to remove Titch for a few days so she loses her power.

My bluebelle used to be the bully from hell until I took her out and isolated her for a few days. Now she's right at the bottom of the pecking order in that coop but still tries to bully the Warrens when she's free ranging with them. I'd take out the bully for a few days.
