what do you peel them for sally - if you boil them for pickling put them in shell and all (if you break the shell a bit first and use malt vinegar you get marbled eggs) - any other use you crack them like normal eggs!!!

Jennie, I don't like pickled eggs so wouldn't use them for that. For ordinary baking and cooking I would use chicken eggs, so the only use I would have for quail eggs would be as tiny hard boiled ones.
