I have some of my chooks billeted in a coop within a hut on the end of my greenhouse. Last night I opened the hut, fed and watered the chooks in the greenhouse then left for the other end of the lottie to do the daily ice breaking routine.
When I returned to the hut doorway a huge black thing jumped from within the hut at my throat. It must have sneaked in while I was at top of allotment.
Bearing in mind that it was dark by then, I got the fright of my life after wrestling with a huge black cat. I don't know who got the bigger shock, me or the cat. I also can't understand why it didn't just try and dart between my legs, rather than go for the jugular.
Luckily there was no one at the allotments as from the yell I let out someone would have thouight I was wrestling with a bear!
