Thank u all for ur messages, my other girl is doing ok, she's more her normal self today eating and drinking but still don't want to come out, i did see her poke her head out of the house earlier though so maybe she's just thinking the same as us..... damn its cold, i'm staying in!! I am doing hourly checks through the day mainly to defrost water feeder but i check on her everytime.

just caught up with this. Sorry for your loss Veggielover. A trick we use to help ease the doors is to use vaseline around the runners etc. No matter how hard you try to keep out moisture, the birds breathing causes moisture which condenses and freezes on the runners making it hard to open. Therefore, if you use vaseline, it repels the moisture which makes it easier to open and close. repeat the application as you need to.
