Hi All,
I thought I would share, what I have done to try and keep the winter chill from the coop overnight.
I advertised on freecycle for a horse blanket, I'm told that once a horse rug gets ripped they are thrown out
Although better to do it around October time, when they take them out and decide they want new rugs. However, anytime is good because horses are always getting into trouble for ripping them
Anyway, I have placed one over my coop and they are a great fit, the flap at the front is ideal, although lets in air, shields the vents from direct blasts of cold winds and snow
Anyway, with a couple of ex batts now settling into the main coop, its been great to have the extra warmth, althogh 5 together should start seeing the coop a bit warmer anyway
