As to whether the two Minorca's I have are a cock and hen.

Two white eggs today............... so I reckon I've got two hens!

I had an idea when I noticed both their combs were floppy, but wasn't sure!

I have two Minorcas, one in lay, one not yet, and they share a pen with some Cream Legbars. The laying Minorca is naughty though. She goes into the henhouse to lay after the Legbars have been in and tramples around, leaving me muddy blue eggs, and one pristine white one!

It must be a Minorca thing My Alice does that too, hence 7 muddy brown eggs and 1 beautiful white one and she swears at me if I go in to collect the eggs when she's on the nest, just as bad as a broody. I forgive her though cos she's beautiful and friendly at other times
