  • Poultry spice

    Hi all again!
My neighbour avril went to get some poultry spice and was offered a liquid form. She says she wants the granula type? I know nothing about it all as you know! Can you recommend a brand/type, and does anyone know a supplier. I am happy to order off the net for her, but think she will prefer to get it herself if their is a supplier in leeds, then she can have a browse around aswell!

Said I would come to the experts!

    Many thanks yet again! x

Poultry spice can come in both forms - liquid tonic to add to their water or mash and granules to add to feed or diluted and added to water.

It can be obtained from most feed stores such as countrywide or Wynnstay (not that it helps you cos there are non local to you), even Pets at Home do it - or you can get it from pretty much all online suppliers - try this supplier not the cheapest but stuff comes in only a couple of days whereas quite a few online suppliers take a couple of weeks! - Poultry Spice | Tonics for Chickens | Chicken Coops | Chicken House | Chicken Supplies | Equipment we use them all the time just for convenience! (and cos they do pink egg boxes )

The one I use is made by Battle, Hayward & Bower Ltd and I buy it from the same place I get my chook feed from. Just Googled it and Flyte so Fancy have it for £4.69
My girls found their way into my heart and now they nest there

As ever, many thanks, have passed info on, and found some pets at home stores nearby for her.
