the neighbours will hopefully be okay,as has been said, the normal noises of an estate far exceed that of a few hens.we have the local amateur football club just over the wall, so i thought "we can have chooks" as on the saturday,the noise (and language) is quite loud,far above the racket of "minnie",our very bossy blackrock who never shuts up moaning.a few visitors have said the football is too noisy but it was here before us and if the lads are playing there they are up to no mischief,in a village everybody knows everybody,so they get away with less,anyway some of the neighbours have said how it takes them back years to sit in the back garden and hear the hens clucking,i suppose those with hangovers may feel different,but thats their fault,just get them to take "the hair of the dog"
