Just been to Inshops today and bought a similar lidded box for a fiver. Already have the heatlamp bulbs and the desk light. Brought home a bit of aviary mesh from the allotment................now all I need is for the eggs to hatch!

Add a couple of vents in the sides and it would make a good transport box too i would think.

Good idea I'm using a polystyrene box with some chicken wire on the top (only to stop the cat getting in!) and an old angle-poise lamp with a heat bulb in it. I like the idea of the storage box though, it would be so much easier to clean/sterilise between broodings
