    exactly - the 1908 act clearly implies that wherever the user of the land (whether purchased or leased/rented) as long as they have use of the land as if it was their own, can keep the previously mentioned livestock, even if the local authority or landower concocts a covenant in the lease to the contrary.

    the 1908 act over rules any other covenant as the law sets down your legal rights, and it is unlawful to restrict your rights offered to you in law

      The thing is, if it is a contract, it may NOT be equivalent to using the land as if it was your own!
      Flowers come in too many colours to see the world in black-and-white.
