  • give her a kiss

forgot to put this on previous thread, i was watching the birds today and one of the newbies(totally mixed in,only heard moaning on first day, complete calm since) was pecking at the boss birds beak, then, when she was told off for it by the boss, she went to another bird and did the same, never seen it before,or heard of it,any ideas?,should it be anything to worry about?, has anyone seen this with their birds?...

Mine seem to do this a lot, especially if one has had her head in the water bucket and is all wet or they've been eating porrige. I was quite suprised that the boss hen allows the lower ranks to do this to her.

wife says that boss bird(minnie,as in minnie the minx) had been crabby all morning, going round showing the others who was boss,so it may have been,"a little bit of creeping goes a long long way",or "can i be your bestest friend?",an ambitious bird, maybe?,we will see over the next week, cause im going to watch that one.
