  • A little reminder of the boys.

I know it's not exactly a surprise anymore but I wanted to start a separate 'happy thread' instead of adding to the sad one......meet two of our new babies
(hatched from eggs from our first hatchings)

Not totally sure of breed but guessing at Norfolk Grey which would make Boo a Daddy.
One of them is mainly black but the other one has yellow tips to it's wings, making me wonder if there's any Buff Orpingtoness going on?

They're now back in the incubator cheeping away merrily trying to wake up some of their pals whilst drying off a little more.

Norfolk greys are known for their grey feet...I guess this ones letting us know it's a bit of a mix? There really are several possibilities as to what they areI think we can at least rule out a Brahma daddy though.

They're in the brooder now,I wanted to swap over the flannel in the incubator as it had got a little bloody from the other one and thought to save keep opening it up we'd get them out.
They're dry a a bit fluffy now and already showing little characters...one wants to constantly snuggle with the other but the other wants none of it.....kids eh?
