I think it has just got hideously huge legs
Although it's still wobbly it's not doing the Bambi on ice impressions anymore.
As Daisy kindly told me yesterday when I was fretting about the other twos walking....."they're only just hatched, course they can't walk properly"...that told me.

Although it has dried up looking pretty cute, you've got to admit there's a bit of a big foot thing going on!

Also couldn't resist the fluffy knickers pic.I think one of them is Norfolk grey/Maran and the other Norfolk Grey/Buff Orpington.

Big Foots Dad has to have been the Brahma(not just big feet but slightly fluffy too)and a Norfolk Grey Mummy.
And finally the last one hatched, the little orange one that you can't see too well due to my crap photography Definately Cream Legbar Mum and by the looks of it Buff Orpington Daddy.
How exciting to tell him he's got two little babies.

I know some of you do this often but I'm feelng totally blown away that these babies are babies from what we had as eggs about a year ago, totally amazes me.I was looking through my thread from when they hatched last year and I had a little lump.

Was a long night....but at least I had some company

The two black ones could both be Boo's.I think one might be half Buff Orpington, the fluffy yellow bum and yellow wingtips. Not sure whether it was a Buff or Norfolk Grey egg so we'll probably never know. But I think the other one is Norfolk Grey Mum and Boo Dad.

Tell you what though, they're not letting me sit back and relax just yet.....the two black ones are really ganging up on the two yellow ones. They're still in sleepy mood and every time they lay down they either get jabbed in the eye or trodden on.The bullies just innocently saunter up to them and stand on them, think they're going to be just like Daisy & Ash

I take it at this age no serious harm can be done through bullying?
I wonder if I'd be better to seperate them while I go get Daisy?
(at this point I'm trying to forget that eventually we'll get to introduce them to the girls at the lottie)

Photo number 4 is brilliant. Dark looking at light in the foreground and light looking at dark in the back.

Which is obviously the effect I setout to achieve

I love that one as it looks like the back two are having a proper little gossip.

I was brave and left them altogether when I did the school run.....the littlest is still being a bit mean,he just intentionally walks on them while they're sleeping. The other one was laid snuggling with the 'new two' so hopefully the lil bully will give up and play happy families too.

Super pics and arnt they gaawgus. I just love the 'beach bums' pici. And no 2 is so sweet.
As for the moist eyes, I know just what you mean, I've got one of Hillys grandaughters in the brooder right now. It leaves you slightly stunned when you stop to think about it. Funnily enough my 'big bully' is the little silkie..who is only half as big as the others, if its a boy it'll be Napoleon, if a girl Toyah

They all seem to have settled in with each other, the little black one still seems to either be full of more miscief or just a bit of a bully but the pecking seems to have stopped...it just waits for one of them to lay down and then 'accidentally' stands on it

The little Legbar/Buff can't open an eye.Don't know if it's from being pecked or something else but I have some boiled water cooling down so I can give it a little wipe.Anything else I could try?

I'm pleased to say that now they've all fluffed up they're all as cute as each other

Pop a bit of salt in the warm boiled water- it's more of an antiseptic!

                                Glad they're settling down!
