i am afraid if its warbling then its very likely to be a young boy. is it kept with other cockerels? sometimes the cockerels development is suppressed by more dominant cockerels. it becomes a "closet cockerel" if you will. remove the dominant ones and the the young often "comes out of the closet" and flourishes into a full blown bird.

got a large pen with two pekins, three wyandottes, and cuckoo pekin, the said bird is a millefeur pekin and just so happens to havnt laid,so might be a him,but the cockeral thats in there is treading the warbler??? its definately a tricky thing to sort out..totally mad on growing veg and keeping bantams!!!!
