ive finally found a coop that my oh agreed on. I will be ordering it tomorrow then all i will need are my chickens. this will probably sound like a really stupid question (or maybe not) but can i put different breeds in together

of course you can
hoever, be careful putting bantams and large fowl together. it should work but sometimes it doesnt and you find bits of bantam everywhere.......

Im sooo excited my coop comes tomorrow. do i need to paint it with that weather protection stuff and do i need to paint the inside of the coop???Comment

I'd paint it inside and out with Creocote (creosote substitute, buy it at B&Q)
It'll preserve the wood and make an uninhabitable place for the dreaded red mite! Good luck when you get your girls
