have chickens on order

I order some chickens yesterday, they are 18 weeks old at the moment.

they were

1 Bluebell

1 white Leghorn

2 rhode island reds x with white sussex, the 2 I will have , will be different colours

1 rock type which is black with some gold


I can't wait

Ours were 17 weeks when we got them - lovely birds and they still are. Three were laying by 19 weeks, the other took another week.

I am waiting for the chicken house to be put together, maybe this weekend or by the next.

They are being delivered tonight I have now decided to have 6 and have added a light sussex to the mix hope I have not ordered to many the run is about 6 ft sq and 6ft high and has a mesh roof the hen house is more than big enough.
