I have found 2 of my bantam eggs in the garden today, they can't get out of their run and I'm wondering how they are getting there. They do have a habit of laying wherever they want in their run but someone is stealing them. Found 1 half eaten, I have hedgehogs could it be them?

There are two possible answers:
a) they don't belong to your bantams at all and have been brought there by rat, hedgehog or other predator from somewhere else - have you been missing eggs lately or are you getting the full quota?
b) they ARE your bantams eggs and something, again probably rat or other predator has removed them from the nest and got them as far as where you found them. Again, have you had your full egg count or are the numbers down a bit lately? Maybe you have thought the birds are laying less when in fact they are still all laying and the eggs are getting stolen!
