Thanks for the offer Petal. I'm sure my Mum has done it, her Gran lived on a farm and did all their own chooks, ducks, rabbits etc, and I know Mum can do rabbits, so I guess she can do chooks too. I may as well learn!

Hahaha, I hope you got more bottle than my hubby.
He can do rabbits, but he couldn't even dispatch our first poorly chook, hence why I had to do it. Men eh?

Twelve assorted eggs collected, and bunged under Broody!

Funny you should say that - I have a friend who has had Chooks for several years. I used to tease her when she went on and on about how lovely they were. She now takes the pee out of me LOL
