    hehe well i don't really mind. i medium soft boiled it with soldiers for the little one, but of course i had to have just a tiny taste lol it was lovely.. the teeny bit i had xx

      after having 3 (mostly house hens) i know where you're coming from, i'd have had mine in the house permanently if they didn't poo so much lol ..... they used to make growly noises almost like a cat purr when they were happy

        I used to have a house hen, she would come in as it was getting dark make her way up on the back of the sofa and nestle down for the night.

        She was also a good guard, if one of the others came in for a look she would see them off!

        Sadly she passed away, but i still let the poorly ones stay in a quiet corner 'cause im a big softy

        Lots of my chooks make the growly noise, just like a contented purr!

          We finished building her a run today outside in the back yard, built, no bodged, from old scraps of wood and cheap plastic netting. it's not exactly buck palace, but with an old growbag for company she's as happy as a chuck in, erm... muck

              I think mine's doing the opposite. Spent last night in the coop, but has come into the house this morning to share our brekkie and sit on her nest in the corner
