just back from hols in adriatic and saw some fantastic roosters,also saw some sad looking birds,but best of all was the hen sunbathing on the side of the road,for a bit we thought she had been hit by a car as she was so close to the traffic,but she then got up,did a little preening,then strolled off to do some scratching around for food...one layed back hen.....

unfortunately i now have to walk with two sticks,so all photo work now done by OH, who has diifferent priorities for the camera, but some of the colours(iridescent) on the roosters were wonderful,as they moved about,the colours seemed to change,and they just strutted about ,looking good...

we would get some jobsworth telling us why such a lovely bird was not permitted,its why everywhere you go now looks the same,grey men with little grey matter being a killjoy over just about anything,why were they silent a
bout our useless pack of bankers?.. ,they should go and see the beautiful things that are cherished abroad,not banned ,i could have sat and watched those roosters parading around all day ,and they looked like they expected to be admired....
