  • layers pellets and mash

I used to feed my pellets but then mash when husband bought the wrong food, they prefer the mash which I don't mind , I have a large feeder which I filled with pellets, which they will not touch can I fill this with mash the feeder is inside the house.

They'll probably scratch dry meal out of a normal feeder. I'd persevere with the pellets. If you feed the mash wet you need to ensure it doesn't go stale, whereas the pellets will stay fresher.
    Up to you really!

the mash is dry, I would rather feed them something they like, but would it go off in the feeder.

Apart from the stuff that holds it together (gelatine I think) the make up of the layers meal should be identical to pellets so it won't go off any more than pellets would. You'll have a lot more waste though as they are quite wasteful with dry meal so if you're keeping it inside make sure rats can't access it.
