my blackrock has nast bald area on back that the others keep pecking.. have read about using duct tape.
has anyone used it? will the feathers grow back

Doesn't sound a very nice thing to do! Pulling it off again may cause her a lot of discomfort and I would think it would be irritating for her. It will also probably attract them to her even more as they will be curious about the tape and keep picking at it. If the hens keep pecking her then you will just have to keep her separate till she heals up.

better to buy a poultry saddle to keep it covered,duct (or is that duck)tape will only cause problems on removal
