I wouldn't mind if I'd painted with emulsion - that's water based I'm concerned as I don't want to eat tainted eggs, nor kill any birds!

Pressure washing will only make it take longer to reach a stable situation. Unless the birds start pecking treated splinters off the walls to eat, I really don't think there is any risk now.Flowers come in too many colours to see the world in black-and-white.

thanks Hilary B, I'll see what it's like tonight when i'm home.. either way would leave it until the weekend anyway. Just impaitence I guess (I went with a mate to get his and now have really bad envy ) !
I've finished my run anyhow, which is a bonus

Yup, onduline roof, with mesh over the top too. There's some holes around the top of the shed too, so there's plenty of ventilation! I've sealed up most of the gaps where they're around hen height so there's no draughts around them but pretty sure it's well vented
