I may be wrong, Munch, but I believe most of the 'Rangers' are the same cross breed (Rhode Island Red x Light Sussex) as the various Warrens/ISA Browns/Rangers, and their names vary according to where they're bred. No doubt one of the experts will be along shortly to slap me soundly if I'm wrong!

I have noticed G4, they seem to have different names where ever you look! I know mine are all hybrids, I dont really mind what they are called they are all unique and lovely. Especially my gentle giant "mendlesham Blue" ;D

Oh and Maisie sounds like a flighty nutter is it any wonder you found her?

Give it a few days. If she is going to stay they will settle down if you put her back every night. I have just put 4 POL in with the two layers and there was a bit of squabbling for a day or two but now they have sorted themselves out.

If you want her to stay with you why not clip her wings so she can't escape (via roofs etc). I'm sure after a week she will settle with the others - it's always tricky when you just introduce one.
