  • shall we have our own online poultry show?

Just an idea - we could all post a picture of our best chicken/cockerel and vote for the best?

    Sounds like a plan!

Here's Valentino - Black Rock/Araucana, hatched by RedThorn, but now Ruling the Roost with me! He's beautiful, and the 'Laydees' love him, but he's a nasty, vicious, spiteful wotsit to humans, and now usually gets called ASBO or 'Shut-up-or-you'll-go-in-the-pot!'

I think Asbo looks lovely G4. If he is a good cock with the laydees you can overlook his agression towards humans. I had one the other way round. Tame as anything with humans but rubbish with the laydees, and he has now gone in the pot!!

This is our cockeral, known as Mr C, he is very old now but he is lovely. If he gets separated from the girls in the garden he gets stressed and sort of jumps up and down then runs around madly, haha

He is pretty. our cockerel, spike milligan is classified as at risk, apparently there are only 200 breeding groups left in the country! I must find him some girl redcaps! might mean a trip to derbyshire!
