Had one yesterday! It was pretty much twice the size of the tiny eggs she's been laying normally - poor hen, must have hurt! the normal eggs just drop through the egg holder in the fridge door, this one wouldn't even fit in it - crazy!
Decided to use it up quickly, as the shell was sratched (presume she gave it a boot after popping it out!) - so having it for lunch today, looking forward to it!
One of my young ducks lays a double-yolker every week. I keep expecting her to have a day off next day, but she always lays another single.I'm going to put three of her eggs into the incubator to see will I get six ducklings from three eggs.
Polly- as far as I'm aware - well with chooks at least- that the double yolkers do develop, but rarely hatch, having snuffed it in the shell....I'd have thought ducks would be the same- but you could always try and see how it goes! ( *hopes to be proved wrong!)

That's cool I didn't realise they could be twins in there
