Non-closing VSBi door automatic door

I wonder if it sticks in the damp? If it is a tight fit then it might just be enough to stop the door getting pulled up. It is a very sensitive mechanism in some ways. On my big house, which is level and big enough for the door to pull straight up, I have had no probs whatsoever (touching wood now!) and the battery has lasted nearly two years ;-) But this small house has been a nightmare from day one. The weight was the way to go for me. I also stuck rulers on the inside of the runner thing it slides up and down in so it had smooth passage.
Unfortunately the instructions that come with the kit are very brief and translated quite poorly from German, which doesn't help.
