Chooks have had ther Crimbo dinner...........

Some soup I made with lentils,barley,veg and some ham bones would have been going to waste so waht better than to give chooks a treat.
Tipped l;oads of porridge oats into it and nuked it in microwave before taking it to chooks at allotment nice and warm.

They loved it!

mine got all the left over veggies, they fought over the bit of cranberry sauce that got in there

mine got a xmas day mash of all the peelings cooked up! They love parsnips!

Mine only get the left overs on the plates, the rest goes for soup today, they did get the apple peelings & cores for the apple & berry cake, other than that I avoid peeling much
