Hemcore is about £8 and Rapport is £7 from my cheapest supplier- the one furthest away of course! Another one charges £11 for Hemcore. I find a bale lasts me 4-6 weeks for 25 birds in 2 large and 1 small coop during winter - longer in summer months as they're not in the coop so long at night. I poo pick every morning and fully change around once a week. I use a cat litter scoop to pick up but someone I spoke to uses a soil riddle/sieve. Might try that on my weekly clear out then clean stuff could go in run in wet weather.

Mine costs about £8. I use in in the house and in the run, which is flagged for ease of cleaning and for fox-proofing reasons. I use a couple of bales to fill the run and a bale does me ages for the house, just picking out the 'clumps' daily and cleaning out properly dependent on the weather (i.e. whether it will dry if I scrub it!)
