The new friendly girl is limping, getting worse (3 days now). Today she is reluctant to put any weight on her leg at all. But she is now being chased by the old girls who have clearly sensed all is not well. She is taking to hiding in the nest box, I suspect to keep away from them.
I have had a good look at her and the only thing I think may be wrong is a small lump behind the toe that sticks out at the back. Which then touches the ground when she puts her foot on it.
Trip to the vet? Or doctor her up at home? Any thoughts? Thanks
